A construction and manufacturing company is seeking a Crane Operator in Chester. The operator will be responsible for assembling rigging to lift equipment, performing safety inspections, and operating cranes according to safety regulations. Candidates must have 1-2 years of experience, the ability to read safety documents, and be capable of handling physical demands of the job. Crane Operator (Full Time)

Summary: Assembles rigging to lift and move equipment or material in manufacturing plant, shipyard, or on construction project by performing the following duties.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. One to two years related experience and/or training. Holds a certified Riggers card or has adequate knowledge to obtain one.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Able to calculate load weight and select appropriate rigging.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
