Job summary

A staffing agency is looking for an experienced Cook in Penarth, Wales. This part-time position offers £12.70 per hour, with hours from 6.30 am to 2.30 pm on Thursdays and Fridays. Manpower is recruiting experienced Cook on behalf of our public sector client to work. You will be assisting with the production of both hot and cold food and serving on the hot food counter at meal times, providing excellent customer service to our customers and ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook snacks and meals, both hot and cold
  • Manage stock and assist with deliveries
  • Monitor food safety standards and complete relevant HACCP forms.
  • Ensure the area is maintained to the highest of cleaning standards including deep cleaning routines.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Cook is essential.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly there may be the occasional requirement to work early or late dependant on business needs
  • Food Hygiene Certificate - Level 2 (we can support you with this)
