Qualifications

Grade 2 (SCP 5-6) £25,583 - £25,989 per annum pro rata

Permanent / 18.5 hours per week (flexible patterns will be considered)

About the role

Are you highly organised, detail‑oriented, and passionate about making a difference? Join our dedicated Children’s Social Care teams and play a vital role in supporting services that help children, young people, and their families.

What you’ll do
  • Provide essential administrative support to social work professionals.
  • Accurately input, update, and retrieve data using the Liquid Logic system.
  • Manage key financial tasks, including petty cash, regular payments, Leaving Care Grants, and applying Finance Policy.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with statutory procedures, legislation, and corporate standards.
What we’re looking for
  • Strong IT skills and experience with developed systems.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexibly, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing demands.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and high professional standards.

We want you to apply if you have:

  • 3 GCSE passes (4 to 9 or equivalent) including Mathematics and English Language; and/or Level 2 in Business and Administration (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a similar role covering a broad range of support tasks and procedures
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling data and financial transactions
