Job Summary

The Bid Writer supports the organization in achieving revenue targets and business growth by completing high-quality tenders within set timeframes. The role involves working closely with Bid Managers, the Senior Bid Manager, and internal stakeholders to produce compelling bids and proposals. You may also lead or support the bid process as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience in the public sector
  • Experience developing presentations using various media to persuade and influence
  • Ability to understand, interpret information with attention to detail
  • Experience in completing high-quality bids

About the Role

  • Lead in writing, creating, and preparing expressions of interest, prequalification questionnaires, ITT responses, and standalone proposals and presentations
  • Support bid presentations, including preparation and participation in delivery to key decision-makers
  • Maintain the Bid library, working with functions and operations to ensure relevant, up-to-date, and accurate information for proposals
  • Complete the bid/no-bid tool and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure tenders align with departmental strategy, operational capabilities, skills, vehicles, and capacity
