About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Manager – Audiology Services to lead and inspire our teams across multiple clinics in Herefordshire & Worcester, Derby & Derbyshire, the Black Country, and Lincolnshire. This field-based role combines clinical leadership, operational oversight, and commercial growth. You will mentor audiologists, drive high standards in patient care, and ensure our services exceed expectations in both NHS and private audiology. The ideal candidate is proactive, commercially aware, and passionate about developing teams and building strong healthcare networks.

Key Responsibilities
Audiologist Training & Clinical Development
  • Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of audiologists across your region
  • Ensure clinicians stay up to date with the latest hearing technologies, software, and evidence-based practices
  • Promote a culture of clinical excellence, confidence, and compassionate patient care
Clinic Operations & Quality Assurance
  • Monitor and enhance clinic workflows, patient pathways, and administrative efficiency
  • Lead clinics toward achieving and maintaining IQIPS accreditation
  • Ensure all services meet organisational SOPs, safety standards, and NHS contract requirements
  • Identify and implement service improvement strategies
  • Set, monitor, and achieve regional sales and revenue targets
  • Support clinicians in delivering patient-focused private services
  • Identify business development opportunities and provide insights for growth
  • Motivate, coach, and develop multi-site teams
  • Lead performance reviews and support recruitment and induction of staff
  • Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture
Stakeholder Engagement & Referral Network Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, pharmacies, and local healthcare providers
  • Attend Integrated Care Board (ICB) meetings and local healthcare events
  • Serve as the primary operational and clinical contact for your area
Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification
  • HCPC registered
  • Proven experience managing multiple clinical sites or leading healthcare teams
  • Experience delivering both NHS and private audiology services
  • Familiarity with IQIPS accreditation (desirable)
  • Strong commercial awareness and record of achieving revenue targets
  • Full UK driving licence
