The successful candidate will plan and execute experimental work to develop new materials, support analytical equipment maintenance, and ensure adherence to safety standards. A bachelor's degree in chemistry is required, along with skills in various analytical techniques. This role is crucial in providing quality data and evaluating trends through statistical analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related subject.
  • Final project in analytical chemistry or similar would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques.
  • Interpretation of results and statistical tools for evaluation.
  • Excellent organisation skills and independent problem solver.
  • Good knowledge of safe working practices including writing Risk Assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute routine analysis of materials in support of Battery Business.
  • Support maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment.
  • Maintain SHEQ systems and standards of the work area.
  • Understand the commercial relevance of the work undertaken.
  • Provide quality data and present at project meetings.
