£29,000 - £35,000 depending on skills and experience

Hours and Location

This is a full-time role based in Leeds, UK. We offer hybrid working and flexible hours to everyone in the team, but this is not a fully remote opportunity, and we require you to be in the office for at least 3 days a week.

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving the successful delivery of digital projects, and identifying opportunities for growth within your assigned accounts. It is your responsibility to ensure that Engage is delivering the best value for money and that the work we produce aligns with your client’s goals and objectives.

You will actively plan digital strategies to grow our client’s performance, increase their investment with the agency, and ensure they have an exceptional experience working with us.

Responsibilities
Client Relationship
  • Be a partner to your clients, helping them achieve their goals and objectives
  • Develop relationships within your client’s organization
  • Look for opportunities to surprise and delight your clients
  • Own and develop your account plans, seeking opportunities to grow your accounts
  • Stay informed about digital trends in your client’s industry
  • Present concepts and solutions clearly and engagingly
Communication
  • Maintain digital channels of communication such as Basecamp, Email, Productive, and Slack
  • Organize and lead regular status meetings following the agency’s templates
  • Prepare for client meetings with slides and ensure the right participants are involved
  • Share updates with the wider agency team
  • Keep communication inclusive and open
  • Share insights and recommendations regularly
  • Ensure regular feedback meetings with your Account Sponsor
  • Provide clear and detailed briefs for channel teams
Strategic and Commercial Thinking
  • Plan to meet account targets with support from senior team members
  • Negotiate client investments with support from senior staff
  • Present commercial solutions that are easy for clients to approve
  • Identify opportunities for improved work and growth
  • Focus on solutions to meet annual account targets
Leadership
  • Oversee the results and work for your clients
  • Be the go-to person for account queries within the agency
  • Produce meaningful reports and insights
  • Foster collaboration within your team
  • Ensure the team understands client performance
General
  • Manage campaign and project delivery from start to finish
  • Maintain accurate financial forecasts
  • Invoice clients as per milestones
  • Log all time in line with company policy
  • Prepare estimates for new projects
  • Pay strong attention to detail
