The Category & Trade Marketing Manager plays a key role in driving sustainable growth of priority categories, leveraging strong shopper and customer insights to accelerate both category and brand performance within the French pharma retail environment. **Key Responsibilities** ***1. Category & Shopper Strategy*** - Identify category growth opportunities and define key growth levers - Contribute to the long-term category vision for both internal and external stakeholders - Support the development of a 3-year Category & Shopper Action Plan, covering the full 4P Marketing Mix, to drive category expansion and brand growth - Define and own the customer value creation model for each brand and key initiative, ensuring relevance for shoppers and pharmacy partners - Promote a shopper- and category-centric culture within Consumer Healthcare France, in close collaboration with the marketing team ***2. Trade Marketing & In-Store Execution*** - Define and lead the in-store activation strategy across assortment, distribution, in-store visibility and pharmacist recommendation, with a strong category perspective - Develop and deploy the commercial and trade marketing toolkit to support sales teams and customers - Translate category and brand strategies into customer-specific growth plans, aligned with commercial policies and Revenue Growth Management principles - Coordinate cross-functional projects such as category reviews, masterplans and other strategic in-store initiatives **3. Performance, ROI & Continuous Improvement** - Review execution quality and in-store performance, assess ROI of trade and shopper initiatives, and recommend corrective actions when required - Partner with Brand, Sales Operations and RGM teams to contribute to future plans (brand plans, pricing, distribution coverage, capabilities) - Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, science and finance teams to ensure excellence in execution, respect of timelines and optimization of commercial performance - Support the Trade & Category Management Lead in managing and adhering to annual budget levels**Profile & Required Skills** - 10+ years of professional experience in Sales (Sales Representative, Area Manager), Category Management or Trade Marketing within a highly competitive FMCG or FMCH environment - Master’s degree required - Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable category and trade strategies - Creative mindset, able to think differently and develop innovative, shopper-centric solutions - Strong consumer and shopper orientation, with a solid category management mindset - Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in French and English - Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive mindset - Rigorous and well-organized, able to manage priorities and constraints effectively - High level of drive and initiative, with the ability to work autonomously and proactively
