Job Title: Control Technician

What Awaits You?

1. Modify controls of assembly systems to enhance and sustain production activities, providing technical support for manufacturing operations.
2. Support manufacturing systems and tools to ensure they meet BMW standards and operate effectively.
3. Maintain and distribute technical data, overseeing the implementation of BMW standards across manufacturing areas and devices.
4. Upgrade and support manufacturing systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
5. Communicate effectively with maintenance colleagues during facility failures to meet process targets.
6. Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to gather information on innovations and improvements.

What Should You Bring?

1. Qualified to NVQ Level 5 or equivalent, or possess strong technical experience.
2. Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems; experience in electrical engineering, diagnosis, and installation of complex systems is beneficial.
3. Experience with control systems, PLCs, field bus, robots, safety, drive/vision/measurement systems.
4. Experience with electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is advantageous.
5. Understanding of software engineering (e.g., Visual Basic, C, C#, C++, SQL, Java).
