A University Degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science is required, along with statistical analysis skills and proficiency in relevant software tools. What You Will Do
- Provide actuarial pricing or reserving support for our insurance products
- Analyze data, perform traditional and predictive analysis.
- Make pricing recommendations for new and existing products.
- Extract and query databases in preparation for analysis and modeling
- Update existing analysis and reports in order to meet business objectives.
- Assist in the valuation, reporting of policy liabilities and the adoption of IFRS 17
What You Have
- University Degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Computer Science
- Statistical analysis and statistical modeling experience is an asset
- Preferably 4 actuarial exams completed
- Working experience in SAS, ResQ, Emblem, MS Excel, VBA is an asset
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
