Actuarial Analyst
Job summary
Echelon Insurance is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join its team. The ideal candidate will provide actuarial pricing support, analyze data for insurance products, and recommend pricing strategies. A University Degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science is required, along with statistical analysis skills and proficiency in relevant software tools. What You Will Do
- Provide actuarial pricing or reserving support for our insurance products
- Analyze data, perform traditional and predictive analysis.
- Make pricing recommendations for new and existing products.
- Extract and query databases in preparation for analysis and modeling
- Update existing analysis and reports in order to meet business objectives.
- Assist in the valuation, reporting of policy liabilities and the adoption of IFRS 17
What You Have
- University Degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Computer Science
- Statistical analysis and statistical modeling experience is an asset
- Preferably 4 actuarial exams completed
- Working experience in SAS, ResQ, Emblem, MS Excel, VBA is an asset
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
