Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and amend construction-related contracts, ensuring they align with the company’s interests and legal requirements.
- Identify contractual risks and issue formal notification letters when necessary.
- Oversee legal formalities related to litigation, particularly within the Ras Al Khaimah court system, known for its efficiency.
- Submit legal memos and documentation as required.
- Serve as a point of contact for Arabic-speaking clients and manage matters related to local legal procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, reporting directly to the Human Resources department.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of legal experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in construction law.
- A minimum of 3 years in the most recent role, demonstrating stability and commitment.
- Strong experience in contract management within the construction sector.
- Knowledge of UAE legal systems, particularly court procedures in Ras Al Khaimah.
- Must be based in the United Arab Emirates or open to relocation.
- Fluent in Arabic (native level) and fluent in English.
