Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Executive Finance - Ain Dubai - Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

• Collecting all Admission, Food & Beverage and Retail cash remittance envelopes from the drop-safe and verifying them against the Daily Witness Sheet.
• Counting cash, cheques and credit card vouchers and verifying Admission, Food & Beverage and Retail computerized remittance report details.
• Reconciling bank deposits of all cheques and cash, and ensuring that all cash collections are deposited intact.
• Compiling all credit card sales vouchers by Credit Card Company, balancing them to the computer totals and preparing them for banking-in daily.
• Updating daily and maintaining ongoing transaction details by Credit Card Company.
• Obtaining daily foreign exchange rates from bank sources and ensuring they tally in the VGS system.
• Disbursing petty cash requests approved by the Director of Finance and preparing Daily Summary of Disbursements.
• Preparing the General Cashier’s Daily Report by entering the day’s detailed cash collections and all other payments received for review and completion by Income Auditor.

Operational:

• Providing courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Ain Dubai LLC Standards of Performance and Objectives.
• Having a full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks required for the position.
• Setting up a systematic and efficient filing system for both hard files and electronic data, enabling quick retrieval and ensuring all files are kept up to date.
• Being proficient with all computer software used in the Finance Division Office.
• Maintaining custody and support of unclaimed wages.

General:

• Understanding and adhering to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and Ain Dubai’s policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
• Reporting for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
• Attending and contributing to all staff meetings, Departmental and Ain Dubai Training scheduled, and other related activities.
• Responding to any changes in the Accounting & Finance function as dictated by Ain Dubai LLC.
• Projecting a positive and motivated attitude and exercising self-control.
• Being discreet, keeping observations confidential and reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller.
• Having a complete understanding of the General Cashiers function in the Operations Manual, policies & procedures.

Employee Handling:

• Assisting in building an efficient team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety and development.
• Assisting in training employees to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties efficiently.
• Supervising employees within the department, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained.
• Ensuring that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to Ain Dubai’s Employee Rules & Regulations and policies relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

Occasional Duties:

• Assisting in carrying out quarterly and yearly inventory of operating equipment.
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Delivering results & meeting customer satisfaction.
