Qualifications

Overview of the role

Handle financial reconciliation, reporting and audit for the store operations in line with daily/weekly/monthly procedures following the IKEA/AL Futtaim directives and internal Standard Operating Procedures.

What you will do

  1. Daily reconciliation of store takings & reporting.
  2. Forex reconciliation and monitoring of exchange rates.
  3. Cheques collection and control.
  4. Tally of safe fund daily.
  5. Credit Card reconciliation.
  6. Gift Vouchers redemption and reconciliation.
  7. Banking of the various tender types.
  8. Store Petty Cash management.
  9. Ensure quality in following the daily/weekly/monthly procedures as well as reporting in a timely manner.
  10. Investigate Till Discrepancy cases and report it to Cash Office Group Leader and relevant departments for further action.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers concerning petty cash, quotes, LPO’s and payments.
  12. Ensure continuous compliance with IKEA/AL Futtaim directives and the company Standard Operating Procedures in Cash office processes.

Required skills to be successful

  1. Good Knowledge of accounting & Cash handling.
  2. Advanced computer literacy.
  3. Advanced proficiency of MS Office Excel and data management tools.

What equips you for the role

  1. 2-3 years retail cash handling experience, finance & accounting experience preferred.
  2. Very good command of English language.
  3. Good command of Arabic language is preferred.
