Quality Control Inspector jobs in South Africa

We are looking for a detail-oriented QC Welding Inspector to join our team in Johannesburg, West Rand. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-quality steel fabrication environment, ensuring industry standards are met while collaborating with a skilled and dedicated team. If you have Level 1 or 2 QC SAIW certification, experience in quality control, and a strong understanding of fabrication processes, we'd love to hear from you!

Education:

• NQF level 4 Qualification (Grade 12)
• Maths
• Degree or Equivalent will be an advantage.
• Level 1 / 2 QC SAIW

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in steel fabrication
• Must have some estimation experience
• Must be able to pay attention to detail.
• Real-time experience in the same field is preferred
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office
• Profound knowledge of quality control standards
• Must have QC experience in the fabrication industry.
• ISO 3834 & ISO 9001 knowledge would be advantageous.
• Compiling databooks would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively identify, communicate and solve problems.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
• Organizational skills with ability to plan and execute daily activities.
