SAP FI Manager plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules within an organization. They should also be familiar with the end-to-end process of the FI and CO modules and have a deep understanding of the integration points with other SAP modules. They will be responsible for implementing and overseeing SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) software applications to streamline and automate financial and management control processes.

He/she leads a team of professionals skilled in all the various disciplines of Finance required to manage the business, as well as having a detailed grasp of the specific SAP Financial module.

This role requires a deep understanding of both the technical aspects of SAP systems and the business processes they support.

Position Outputs

1. Implementation and Maintenance: Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of SAP FI/CO modules to ensure they meet business needs.
2. Business Process Understanding: Identifying and addressing client needs by understanding their business processes and requirements.
3. Solution Design: Designing, configuring, testing, and deploying SAP FI/CO solutions.
4. Team Leadership: Leading and managing the SAP FI/CO team to ensure effective project execution.
5. Training: Providing end-user training on SAP FI/CO modules.
6. Best Practices: Developing and implementing best practices and standards for SAP FI/CO.
7. Troubleshooting: Handling troubleshooting and providing timely resolutions to issues.
8. Documentation: Documenting system changes and developments for transparency and future reference.
9. Support: Providing expert-level support for SAP FICO issues, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and system upgrades.

Additional responsibilities include SAP S/4HANA implementation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in IT, Business Management, Finance, or relevant field.
• 8 years’ experience in ICT environment with at least 3 years managerial experience, or 10 years’ experience with at least 5 years managerial experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in SAP FICO environment.
• Relevant SAP certification is an advantage.
