Job Title: Senior Auditor (AIM-Listed Audits UK Experience)

Location: Cape Town (Remote/Hybrid)

Salary: R65,000 per month

Working Hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (UK Time)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Auditor with a strong background in AIM-listed audits and UK regulatory standards to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be based in South Africa and have extensive knowledge of UK auditing frameworks, IFRS, and ISA standards. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work with high-profile clients in the UK while being part of a growing international firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage AIM-listed audit engagements, ensuring compliance with UK regulations, IFRS, and ISA standards.
  • Review and assess financial statements, internal controls, and risk management processes.
  • Oversee audit planning, execution, and completion, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior auditors, reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with UK-based clients, audit committees, and key stakeholders to ensure clear communication and issue resolution.
  • Stay up to date with changes in UK auditing regulations, FRC guidelines, and AIM listing rules.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA), ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in auditing AIM-listed companies.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and ISA auditing standards.
  • Experience working with UK clients and a deep understanding of the UK financial reporting environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with international teams.
  • Experience with audit software and data analytics tools is an advantage.
