Job summary

A leading energy company seeks an IT Architect to plan and design integrated architectural solutions ensuring effective information technology application. Candidates must have a B Tech/B Degree in Information Technology and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills. This role is based in Sandton and follows a permanent contract approach.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advise management regarding Information Management / Information System strategy, technology, architecture, and solutions.
2. Manage the practical interpretation and realisation of the Information Management/Information System strategy.
3. Create, validate, refine, and expand the architectural model.
4. Understand, interpret, and model business, information, and systems requirements.
5. Manage the architecture and the use of architecture artefacts.
6. Facilitate system inter‑operability and smooth systems roll‑out.
