Our client is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive sales growth by implementing sales initiatives, building networks and channels, responding to leads, managing customers, and achieving sales targets locally, regionally, and across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and evaluate market and sales opportunities by building relationships, developing networks, and initiating discussions to secure new and existing business aligned with sales targets and deadlines.
  • Achieve sales targets by identifying leads, engaging with key decision-makers, preparing and submitting sales documentation (tenders, quotes, proposals), and closing deals within defined timelines.
  • Conduct sales negotiations by effectively presenting the company's competitive advantages, addressing client concerns, and fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Expand brand presence and reputation in the market through proactive sales efforts and relationship-building.

Customer Management & Retention

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage customer expectations by aligning offerings with their requirements, addressing potential challenges proactively, and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Provide after-sales support by identifying and resolving customer issues, managing complaints, and ensuring prompt feedback and resolutions.
  • Complete sales processes and maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system.
  • Draft and submit required sales documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.
  • Manage the sales payment cycle, ensuring timely invoicing and tracking of payments.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports as per defined standards and deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • NQF 5 qualification in Sales or a similar field (preferred).
  • In the absence of a qualification, relevant experience in the industry will be considered.
  • 4-6 years of sales experience with a proven track record in the fire prevention or a related industry.
