Job Title:
Dry Goods & Logistics Coordinator

Location:
Klapsmuts, Western Cape (Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Klapsmuts)

Start Date:
1 April 2025 (Immediate availability or an earlier start date will be advantageous)

Remuneration:
R17,000 R20,000 CTC (inclusive of salary, medical aid, and retirement annuity)

Transport Requirement:
Own reliable transport essential

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organised and reliable Dry Goods & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This critical role ensures the seamless coordination between production, stock management, and logistics functions, playing a key part in maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Dry Goods Requirement Planning

  • Monitor and forecast dry goods requirements based on production schedules.

Ordering & Delivery Coordination

  • Place and manage dry goods orders.
  • Ensure timeous deliveries and resolve delivery-related challenges.

Goods Received Reconciliation & Capturing

  • Conduct accurate goods received reconciliation and recordkeeping.
  • Capture all stock data onto internal systems.

Monthly Stock Reconciliation

  • Complete monthly stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve any stock discrepancies.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain clear communication with internal departments, suppliers, and transporters.
  • Track and report production losses related to dry goods and packaging.

Logistics Coordination for Finished Goods

  • Arrange and coordinate the transport of finished goods to various locations.
  • Capture and track all stock movements accurately.

Wine Competitions, Entries & Awards

  • Manage the submission process for competitions and awards.
  • Ensure all required stock and documentation are submitted on time.
  • CHEP (advantageous)
  • Advanced Excel (essential)

Education:

  • Matric certificate required.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management will be advantageous.

Experience & Competencies:

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong administrative and reconciliation skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
