Job Title:Branch Co-ordinator

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Co-ordinator to join our team in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. In this role, you will play a key part in assisting customers, planning and preparing orders, processing transactions, and coordinating logistics from our manufacturing operations.

Please note: The successful candidate must be physically capable of moving stock for customers, with items weighing approximately 25–50 kg at times. External sales experience is essential, and the candidate must be able to build and maintain a strong customer base for the branch.

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Own transport
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in external sales and branch coordination
  • Knowledge of the construction industry will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Plan and prepare customer orders with attention to detail
  3. Perform general office and receptionist duties
  4. Create quotes and invoices
  5. Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
  6. Manage company logistics efficiently
  7. Assist in loading customer stock (items weighing approx. 25–50 kg)
  8. Perform any other duties as required
  9. Maintain accurate stock control
  10. Provide excellent customer service – including follow-up calls on quotes
  11. Conduct external sales activities, including cold calling and relationship building

Skills Required:

  • Basic computer literacy
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Extroverted personality

Remuneration:

  • Basic Salary: R25,000 Gross (depending on experience)
  • Benefits: None

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 17:00
  • Friday: 07:00 – 16:00

Probation Period:

  • 3 months from the date of employment

Retirement Age:

  • 60 years
