About the role

A UK-based marketing agency is seeking a German-speaking Business Development Executive to act as the liaison between clients, prospects, and customers. Your main responsibility will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers primarily through phone calls. This role involves sales activities, including cold calling, and requires resilience and motivation. You will be valued, challenged, and rewarded in this fast-paced environment.

To succeed, you should have experience in developing leads from sales and marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. Your communication skills will help you cultivate strong relationships from initial contact to closing deals or booking appointments. You should be motivated, results-driven, team-oriented, and enjoy working in a dynamic setting. Ultimately, your efforts will boost sales and contribute to the long-term growth of our business and our clients'.

Responsibilities
  • Qualify leads (mainly businesses) from marketing campaigns and data lists as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients via cold calls, follow-up calls, emails, and LinkedIn
  • Present various products and services to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest suitable products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and our clients
  • Report to the Team Leader weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  • Manage personal time effectively

Requirements
  • Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to accept and implement feedback
Must-haves
  • Proven work experience in B2B sales or account management, such as a Business Development Representative or Sales Account Executive
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Grade 12 education
  • Fluent in German and English, with good spelling and grammar
