Position: Application Engineer (Full-Time | Hybrid)

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. Based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area, this role offers hybrid flexibility and involves travel across South Africa. As an Application Engineer, you'll be the bridge between our clients and engineering teams, ensuring TORSA’s solutions are implemented, supported, and optimized to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and customer assistance for deployed systems
• Perform system configuration, integration, and application testing
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure optimal performance
• Work closely with engineering and product development teams
• Customize solutions to meet client-specific requirements
• Support on-site system deployments and provide field support as needed
• Collaborate with clients to provide technical training and documentation

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field
• Solid foundation in software configuration, troubleshooting, and system testing
• Strong technical communication and collaboration skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive work ethic
• Experience in the mining or construction sector is a strong advantage
• Willingness to travel within South Africa and Africa.
