A healthcare provider in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures, assisting physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases. Responsibilities include greeting patients, preparing them for imaging procedures, processing images, and maintaining a safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, effective customer service skills, and accuracy in work. This role offers benefits available for full-time employees.
Perform radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of injuries and disease. In addition to x-ray tech duties, this position will also serve as a medical receptionist.
Physical demands for this position include: the ability to speak clearly, close vision, the ability to stand for extended periods, the ability to reach and bend, periodic lifting and moving of items of no more than ten (10) pounds, and walking.
Work environment while performing the duties of this job are indoor healthcare setting, moderate noise level, potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and diseases with a requirement to wear appropriate PPE (e.g., gloves, masks, etc.).
