The Tech – Waste Removal position is responsible for the overall removal of all trash/waste in the hospital, maintaining a professional demeanor in accordance with the service excellence standards while interacting with patients, patients’ families (including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics), and coworkers. The position requires following any other job‑related instructions and performing any other duties requested by supervisors.
Standing/walking: Continuous. Bending/stooping: Frequent. Lifting/handling: Occasional (up to 100 lbs for heavy tasks, 50 lbs for equipment, 20 lbs for supplies). Carrying: Frequent. Balancing: Occasional. Twisting/turning: Occasional. Crouching/stooping: Frequent. Kneeling: Occasional. Reaching above shoulder height: Occasional. Below shoulder height: Frequent.
