Program: Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN), supporting the U.S. Air Force at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.

Job Description

We are looking for a Systems Interoperability & Integration Engineer to work alongside the Government to support secure and reliable communication between air and ground forces. Responsibilities include developing technical requirements, planning, cybersecurity implementations, system protection, E3 analysis, spectrum management, standard compliance, and interoperability testing across multiple domains. The role requires in-depth knowledge of C3, IT, ISR systems, mission planning, communications engineering, encryption technology, and embedded communication solutions for both manned and unmanned platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Develop technical requirements, documentation, and approaches for weapon system integration.
  • Plan and coordinate cybersecurity, IA, and system protection implementations.
  • Conduct E3 analysis and perform spectrum certification and supportability assessments.
  • Test and validate interoperability between weapon systems and C3/ISR systems.
  • Analyze technical adequacy and compatibility of interfaces, including legacy and next‑generation platforms.
  • Utilize modeling tools such as Sparx or MagicDraw for DoDAF 2/SysML architecture products.
  • Engage in cybersecurity and IA certification and accreditation processes.
