A senior licensed physical therapist is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, development, implementation, and revision of treatment programs as necessary. The senior physical therapist is also responsible for providing physical therapy to patients/customers throughout the lifespan and able to provide age-specific direct care/services to this population. In addition, the senior licensed physical therapist participates in clinical programs and interdepartmental activities within the organization. They also function as a clinical instructor in the student affiliation program, and serve as a resource to other staff members in clinical and/or administrative areas.
HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and offer a wide range of medical specialties. These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care.
