Job description

A strategic and results-driven Global Sourcing Director in our automotive aftermarket distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing a complex, high-SKU global supply chain, ensuring availability, cost competitiveness, and supplier reliability. As the leader of the Purchasing team, you will partner closely with Product Management and Operations to develop sourcing strategies that drive profitability, strengthen service levels, and support sustainable long-term growth

All of the responsibilities we will trust you with:

• SKU Management & Availability:Oversee sourcing for a broad catalog of part numbers, ensuring supplier capacity, quality, and lead times align with customer demand.
• Cost Reduction:Develop and execute sourcing strategies that lower acquisition costs while maintaining quality and competitiveness in the aftermarket space.
• Profitability Improvement:Deliver favorable Purchase Price Variance (PPV) through negotiation, supplier performance management, and cost modeling.
• Risk Management:Identify and proactively mitigate geopolitical, supply chain, and supplier-specific risks to protect product availability and margins.
• Supplier Development:Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; strengthen existing partnerships through performance metrics, contract compliance, and joint improvement initiatives.
• Global Supplier Relations:Cultivate strong, long-term supplier relationships across multiple regions, balancing cost, lead time, quality, and reliability.
• Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams to align sourcing strategies with product line priorities, customer needs, and inventory requirements.
