Overview
Directive Consulting is the leading B2B performance marketing agency that delivers real revenue—not just leads. We focus on driving pipeline and scale brands in SaaS and B2B through services including Paid Media, SEO, CRO, RevOps, and Go-To-Market Strategy. We hire people who challenge the status quo and deliver bold, innovative campaigns that mean something to clients.
We’re looking for forward-thinking professionals who excel at crafting strategies that elevate search visibility, develop compelling content, and deliver value to audiences. This role is remote-first and open to eligible candidates in the US.
Note: internally, this role is titled Account Strategist, Content & SEO.
What Youll Do
- Strategic Excellence and Best Practices: Create custom strategies and implement best practices for clients to achieve NSMs. Use the clients marketing goals, campaigns, and historical performance to optimize strategies over the engagement while aligning with Directive best practices. Collaborate with the Associate Director when roadblocks arise and influence the strategy and goal attainment.
- Content and Campaign Ideation: Craft creative briefs and content campaigns informed by competitor and audience insights, incorporating best practices such as LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production.
- Goal Setting: Use available data to set client goals during engagement, with approvals from the Associate Director in meetings with the client as needed.
- Data Sources: Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush reporting, and Ahrefs reporting are used to inform goals and measurement.
- Project Management: Ensure strategy execution using Asana; delegate tasks to team members and clients, and coordinate with Project Managers to meet due dates and deliverables. Collaborate with content writers and designers to deliver campaigns on time and to client standards.
- Internal and External Communication: Build and maintain relationships with clients beyond deliverables, and proactively communicate updates, roadblocks, opportunities for account growth, and strategic changes to both clients and internal leadership. Communicate timelines and deliverables clearly and maintain regular cadence via channels such as Slack and bi-weekly meetings.
- Reporting: Regularly report progress and impact to clients. Maintain a cadence of bi-weekly client meetings, monthly reports, quarterly reports, and bi-annual business reviews. Report on NSM progress and ongoing deliverables in client meetings.
