Senior - Supervising Electrical Engineer
Base pay: $99,255.00/yr - $138,882.00/yr

Responsibilities
- Represent the firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members.
- Provide trade‑specific system design, layout (utilizing CAD/BIM), calculations (using appropriate software), and related design services, coordinating with other trades (architectural and engineering).
- Manage CAD/BIM and other technical staff as directed.
- Estimate construction costs and evaluate feasibility using ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude).
- Write engineering proposals under supervising engineer/director for projects.
- Assume responsibility for the overall economic wellbeing of assigned projects.
- Conduct business development activities and due‑diligence reports that comply with company standards.
- Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
- Design large projects, prepare reports and specifications, and provide high‑level technical leadership.
- Set project budgets and schedules.
- Participate in QA/QC process of completed work by staff.
- Perform “Engineer of Record” duties, calculations, equipment selection, specifications, and construction administration.
- Manage staff resources and review.
- Produce drawings consistent with client requirements and standards.
- Provide consulting engineering services, including due‑diligence reports, gap analyses, and feasibility reports.
- Take charge of project discipline, addressing any errors & omissions issues.
- Pursue continuing education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical discipline from an accredited university.
- 8–14 years experience in a consulting firm.
- Proficient in REVIT and the latest version of AutoCAD MEP.
- Strong understanding of applicable codes.
- Knowledge of SKM Software and ability to perform short‑circuit coordination and arc‑flash studies (highly preferred).
- PE license required.
