About the Role

You will be joining a fast-paced team that ships incrementally and iteratively, using data to drive decisions and maintains the core platform that compensation admins use to build and maintain sales compensation models in CaptivateIQ
As CaptivateIQ scales to serve mid market and enterprise customers across multiple products it is critical that our user experiences are rooted in a quality design system and fully tested, reusable components. Additionally this team and this role will ensure that our company has a thriving frontend community and will support teams with best practices through product integration and implementation activities. Your first project will be to create a data grid component while introducing it across our products in close collaboration with product teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain fully tested reusable components and design system at enterprise scale
  • Work across teams to identify and address technical dependencies and align on shared goals.
  • Act as a liaison between frontend, backend, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration, and support integration efforts and product delivery as needed.
  • Maintain high engineering and security standards, and continuously improve our codebases and processes
  • Work with engineers and designers across the company to develop and iterate at scale
Requirements:
  • 7+ years experience in a software engineering role
  • You have strong computer science fundamentals (data structures/algorithms)
  • You demonstrate experience with frontend development, and building component libraries
  • You exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You demonstrate proficiency with Typescript and React
  • You have demonstrated a track record of taking responsibility and ownership over core product areas
  • You have a sharp attention to detail, and a user-centric focus
  • You have experience making data-driven decisions on product and process
  • You have experience building a positive remote-first culture
Nice to have:
  • Proficiency with one or more frontend libraries such as bootstrap, chakra ui or material ui.
  • Experience with a relational database such as postgresql or mysql
  • Experience with python and django
