Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations - Commerce Platform

DoorDash Commerce Platform is our company’s hypergrowth fulfillment platform serving restaurants, grocers, and retailers across the United States and abroad. It enables ecommerce fulfillment for first‑party experiences and supports growth across strategic clients. The Senior Associate will help define, test, and scale Commerce Platform’s growth initiatives.

We expect this position to be filled by 12/7/2025.

About The Role

As a Senior Associate on our Commerce Platform Growth Strategy & Operations team, you will play a critical role in driving growth and success. You will own this segment and help build and execute our growth strategy across strategic clients, launch and scale partnerships, find product‑market fit, develop go‑to‑market strategies, and partner cross‑functionally to bring solutions forward. You may design experiments to improve quality and delivery operations, test marketing strategies, address issues that enable our merchants and processes to run efficiently, and dive into data to explain performance in detail. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to take ownership and create plans from scratch, and drive execution with cross‑functional buy‑in to achieve DoorDash Commerce Platform’s goals. You will report to a Manager in the Commerce Platform Restaurants team in our Platform Products organization.

  • Improve the product – Guide operational improvements by understanding merchant needs and working with internal partners to design solutions; inform the product roadmap with quantitative and qualitative feedback
  • Influence – Work cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Support, Sales and Account Management to drive growth and scale
  • Experiment – Evaluate and test revenue, cost, and quality drivers

Compensation & Benefits

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado, is $78,200—$115,000 USD. Base salary is localized by work location. The role includes opportunities for equity grants. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer matching, paid parental leave, wellness benefits, commuter benefits match, paid time off, paid sick leave, disability and life insurance, and more. Details vary by location.

For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year. For hourly roles: vacation accrual and paid sick time accrual are defined by hours worked. See the careers page for more information.
