About the Sales Team

Our Sales team manages the full sales cycle, helping prospects and existing customers leverage Mixpanel to analyze, measure, and improve their customer experience. The Enterprise team focuses on targeting and working with our largest organizations 1000+ employees, with an emphasis on high-growth tech companies who are changing the world around us.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role based out in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, you\'ll help our future customers understand the power of Mixpanel as a best-in-class product analytics solution. You will build strong relationships with prospects and key stakeholders and partner with internal teams such as Solutions Engineering to win together. You\'ll leverage your SaaS prospecting skills and knowledge of Mixpanel to close new business and power the next generation of innovative companies.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities by selling directly to top-tier digital analytics decision makers, including C-level executives and other key stakeholders
  • Manage 6-18 month sales cycles, aligning customer requirements with Mixpanel\'s roadmap
  • Lead the customer buying process from discovery to RFP, procurement to IT security review
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records for New Business opportunities and deliver weekly revenue forecasts
  • Develop relationships and uncover needs of multiple stakeholders to identify value moments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Legal to understand enterprise use cases
  • Understand Mixpanel\'s competition and technology partners to advise customers on our market position
We\'re Looking For Someone Who Has
  • At least 7+ years of experience in full-cycle SaaS sales at Enterprise level or related roles
  • Proven outbound prospecting success and deal outcomes
  • Ability to communicate value to senior stakeholders and develop new business cases
  • Experience owning complex sales cycles with solution and value selling approaches
  • Expertise in engaging with C-level executives and managing high-stakes negotiations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace change
  • Agility, resilience, and a genuine drive to excel
  • Curiosity for the product analytics space
Bonus Points For
  • Experience selling into high-growth tech companies
  • Experience with Mixpanel or other analytics tools
  • Industry experience in tech, fintech, ecomm/retail, or measurement & experimentation

Compensation

The listed amount is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base pay plus variable compensation. Equity and other benefits, including medical, vision, and dental insurance, are also available. Our salary ranges are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area technology market and are updated periodically. Individual pay is determined by experience, skills, and qualifications. Your recruiter can share specifics if you have questions.
