We use Customer Generation (a marketing methodology developed by us) to cut through the noise. Forget MQLs—we’re here to drive pipeline, fuel SQLs, and scale brands that are serious about growth. From Paid Media and SEO to CRO, RevOps, and Go-To-Market Strategy, we build marketing engines that win in SaaS and across B2B industries. We move fast. We think boldly. We are elite. We hire people who challenge the status quo and push campaigns past what’s expected - sparking demand for bold, innovative brands. If you live for performance, love solving hard problems, and want your work to actually mean something, you’ll fit right in. We’re shaping the future of marketing and are looking for forward-thinking professionals who excel at crafting strategies that elevate search visibility, developing compelling content, and delivering value to audiences. If you’re ready to explore future opportunities and be part of a team that values creativity, strategy, and results, we’d love to connect with you.

About The Role

The Content Strategist is a crucial, client-facing role responsible for day-to-day client deliverables, creating and managing custom client strategies, and communicating with clients and internal stakeholders. The Strategist is responsible for more Enterprise clients and is expected to have a deep understanding of their service line and how it impacts other areas of business to create a holistic marketing strategy. Note: internally, this role is titled Account Strategist, Content & SEO.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Excellence and Best Practices: Create custom strategies and implement best practices for clients to achieve NSMs. Build initial client strategy during project phase and optimize strategies over the lifetime of the client while adhering to Directive best practices. Collaborate with the Associate Director (AsD) on roadblocks and goal attainment.
  • Develop creative briefs and content campaigns with ideation based on competitor and audience insights. Apply best practices such as LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production.
  • Goal Setting: Use available data to set client goals during engagement. Goals are approved by the Associate Director (AsD) who should attend the meetings.
  • Data sources include Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush reporting, and Ahrefs reporting. All goals must be approved by the AsD before presenting to clients.
  • Project Management: Ensure strategy execution with clear task ownership for Directive and client teams. Use Asana for project management. Delegate tasks to Specialists and clients and ensure timely completion. When Project Managers are present, partner with them to ensure tasks are created, assigned, and due dates met, and communicated to the client. Collaborate with content writers and designers to complete content campaigns on time while maintaining quality.
  • Internal and External Communication: Build strong client relationships beyond deliverables. Proactively communicate with clients and internal leadership to drive results. Communicate timelines, progress on goals, and use shared channels (e.g., Slack) for regular updates and deliverables rather than only at bi-weekly meetings. Inform leadership of roadblocks and opportunities for account growth, including moments of change in strategies or client circumstances.
  • Reporting: Regularly report progress and impact to clients. Cadence includes bi-weekly client meetings (document NSM progress and ongoing deliverables), monthly reports, quarterly reports, and bi-annual business review presentations.

  • Analytical skills to analyze website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics
  • Strong communication skills for client-facing roles and stakeholder relationships

Goals

  • NSM Attainment: 100%
  • MRR Retainment: 96%
  • CSAT > 4.2
  • Upsells / Cross-sells / Referrals – Strategists are expected to regularly look for opportunities for client growth with Directive (e.g., expanding to another service line or increasing budgets). Referrals are encouraged at key moments, such as when a contact changes roles. Client CSAT of 5 is noted as a goal partially through referrals.
