SDET Engineer — Durham, NC • Type: Contract • Category: Quality Assurance (QA) • Industry: Financial Services

Our well-known client in the Raleigh-Durham area has a long-term position available for a Senior SDET Professional with strong experience writing automated test scripts from scratch using JavaScript to perform component, unit and integration testing. This role is hybrid requiring on-site work.

Responsibilities

• This SDET professional will be responsible for using JavaScript and Cypress/Playwright to write automated test scripts from scratch.
• This role includes testing APIs and interacting with external clients to gather and define testing requirements.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of automation testing experience
• Extensive experience coding with JavaScript and the ability to write code from scratch
• 2+ years of experience using Cypress or Playwright framework
• Experience developing test cases per client’s requirements

Bachelors Degree

Compensation and Benefits

Rate: $64 - $70 / hr. w2
