Palm Point is currently recruiting for Full Time/Part Time/Per Diem Registered Nurse. The Nurse is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the Child, Adolescent and Adult Units. The Nurse is in charge of the unit activities for each shift. The Nurse supervises the Mental Health Techs working on the unit, administers prescribed medications and participates in educational groups.

Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety and substance abuse, in a modern and well‑appointed facility. The hospital serves communities in Brevard County and beyond.

Shift: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Experience: Prefer one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefer six (6) months in psychiatric nursing. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration.
• Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. Current AHA BLS Certification required or obtained before direct patient care.
