Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license prior to placement start.
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.
• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

36 guaranteed hours
Weekend Requirements“6 weekend shifts (every other weekend) in a 6 week period Days-Sat Sun Nights Fri, Sat”
Holiday Requirements“2 major (Eve and day- Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) and 2 minor Will fill in where there is a need”
Floating Requirements?“Majority of time will float within the 3 monitor pods, occasionally will float out to MedSurg. May go to higher acuity floor talking ONLY tele patients Travelers are first to float”
Must be able to read and interpret strips independently
Must pass the Advanced Dysrhythmia with Measurements–will be given 3 attempts to pass. Remediation is not offered. Do have a study guide that can be provided
Prefer Neuro and Cardiac experience
