Recruiter (Bilingual)

Location: San Diego, CA (hybrid role with occasional on‑site presence at our facilities in San Diego and Mexicali, MX. Candidates must be located in the U.S. within commutable distance of San Diego.)
Base pay range: $72,000 – $95,000 per year
The Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for Chromalloy. They play a critical role in ensuring that the company's staffing needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. The Recruiter works closely with hiring managers and HR professionals to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for high volume, hourly manufacturing roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies to find potential candidates
- Screening Applications: Review resumes and cover letters to determine the suitability of candidates for specific roles
- Conducting Interviews: Schedule and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fits
- Managing Applicant Tracking System (ATS): Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions in the ATS
- Building Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on recruitment progress
- Offer Management: Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate terms as necessary
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting. Aerospace manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but is not required
- Knowledge of recruitment practices and regulations in Mexico is a significant plus
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software, including sort/filter, basic functions, formatting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
