Quality Assurance Technician (Day shift)

Must have basic proficiency in English to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.

This position will work the day shift: 7 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday.

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll help ensure our products meet the highest standards for safety, consistency, and compliance. You’ll work directly on the production floor, reviewing documentation, performing inspections, and supporting teams with quality guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform in‑process testing and AQL inspections
  • Submit samples for analytical and microbiological testing
  • Review batch documentation and production logbooks for accuracy
  • Approve pre‑startup activities and equipment checks
  • Release batch records and work orders
  • Conduct daily audits and floor walks to ensure compliance
  • Support teams with GMP, SOP, and documentation guidance
  • Participate in shift review meetings
  • Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance (preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
  • Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
Skills
  • Comfortable using computers, tablets, and basic software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with systems such as SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Understanding of quality systems and manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Team‑oriented and dependable

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $20.65–$21.27. This range is provided as a good‑faith estimate for the position at the time of posting; final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
