About the Opportunity

Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) is currently supporting several leading renewable energy developers with the delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the United States.

We are now seeking multiple experienced Project Managers to join project teams responsible for the safe, on-time, and cost-effective delivery of large-scale BESS assets. Acting as the developer’s representative, you’ll oversee project execution from pre-construction through commissioning—managing EPC performance, technical scope, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery activities across assigned BESS sites, managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the developer and EPC partners, maintaining strong communication and coordination across disciplines.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting, and progress tracking, ensuring clear visibility across all stakeholders.
• Manage contract execution, change control, and risk mitigation processes.
• Support commissioning, testing, and transition to operations.
• Drive adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience

• Proven track record managing large-scale renewable or BESS projects in the U.S.
• Experience representing developers or asset owners through construction and commissioning phases.
• Strong understanding of EPC delivery, permitting, and grid interconnection.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites nationwide.
