A technology firm in San Jose is seeking a Failure Analysis Coordinator to bridge communication between Engineering, Suppliers, and the FA team. This role requires strong hardware engineering and data analysis skills, including SQL and Tableau. Responsibilities involve managing case statuses, optimizing processes, and collaborating with global teams to identify failure trends. Familiarity with QMS and the CDET tool is advantageous. Work is onsite from day one.
The Failure Analysis Coordinator serves as a liaison between BU Engineering, Suppliers, and the FA team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to meet FA timelines. The role involves managing and updating FA case status within the QMS, facilitating the FA process, and reporting findings for customer review. It includes QMS updates for component FARC cases, identifying overdue reports, driving vendors for timely submissions, and collaborating with component engineers and the broader FA team to identify failure trends and recommend corrective actions. The ideal candidate will leverage hardware engineering experience to optimize processes, apply project management skills to oversee FA completion, and possess strong data analysis skills (SQL, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of the CDET tool is a plus. The role also requires working across time zones with global teams and vendors, collecting evidence, and updating QMS attachments.
