Currently, we have a Production Engineer role available on 1st shift. The Production Engineer will provide engineering support for ongoing and new operations.

Essential Functions of the Position
  • Utilizes and promotes Lean Manufacturing methods.
  • Designs methods and machines to maintain or increase production levels, improve costs, yields, quality, and safety.
  • Trains operators in process, software, equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Investigates and initiates Design Engineering change requests and participates in design reviews for new or revised products.
  • Develops and updates process procedures ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to Link-Belt standards.
  • Troubleshoots process issues to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
  • Assists manufacturing in troubleshooting product problems.
  • Analyzes market and economic conditions to forecast manufacturing needs.
  • Monitors process equipment to identify errors and implement solutions.
  • Performs project management tasks as assigned.
  • Provides technical data for cost estimation and reduction.
  • Performs engineering calculations to validate production designs.
Qualifications
  • Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience.
