Role Summary

You steer the LOS product from idea to release. You own the roadmap, write epics and user stories, lead sprint ceremonies, run UAT, and feed market insights back into planning.

You work side-by-side with sales on demos and client pitches. Your goal is simple, ship valuable features on schedule and keep the team focused.

Core Responsibilities

Vision and Roadmap

  • Keep a rolling three-month roadmap that supports company OKRs.
  • Review the roadmap each month with the CTO and the Development Manager.

Backlog and Ticket Quality

  • Break work into clear epics and slice them into user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Confirm each story with the Solution Engineer for technical soundness and with the Client Success Representative for the business context, before marking it ready for grooming.

Sprint and Ceremony Leadership

  • Prepare agendas for pre-grooming, grooming, sprint planning, review, and retrospective.
  • Run or co-host ceremonies, record decisions, and follow up on action items.

Stakeholder Alignment

  • Present upcoming releases to leadership and sales.
  • Publish a short monthly roadmap update for the whole company.

UAT Ownership

  • Plan and run UAT cycles.
  • Prepare demo data, collect client sign-off, and log issues for triage.

Market and Client Research

  • Interview clients and track competitors to find the most valuable problems to solve.
  • Turn research findings into backlog items and roadmap changes.
  • Join onsite sales calls and demos, explain product value, and gather feedback.
  • Provide simple slide decks or demo scripts when needed.

Metrics and Documentation

  • Track velocity, burndown, and release cadence.
  • Keep product flows, data dictionaries, and decision logic current in Confluence.

Ownership and Boundaries

  • You own roadmap order, backlog health, ticket clarity, and UAT success.
  • The Client Success Representative handles daily client communication.
  • The Solution Engineer owns deep technical design.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Four or more years as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in SaaS or FinTech.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Proven skill writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience leading agile ceremonies and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with lending workflows, banking compliance, or loan-origination systems.
  • Clear spoken and written English, able to explain complex topics in simple terms.
  • Must work onsite in Glendale CA.

Nice to Have

  • Background in home-improvement financing or consumer lending.
  • Basic SQL or data analysis skills.
  • Past work supporting sales demos or RFP responses.

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401k with company match.
  • Paid time off plus holidays.
  • Quarterly learning stipend.
  • Monthly gym membership support.
  • Modern office in central Glendale, stocked kitchen, regular team lunches, and more.
