Overview

Insight Global is assisting a revolutionary Engineering client of ours in identifying a Procurement and Project Manager for a permanent opening they have. The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier identification through to on-time delivery of systems, equipment and resources for our subsea habitats and associated operations. You will be working in a fast paced startup business across a broad range of commodities, including technical services, large structural fabrications, complex gas and electrical systems and novel marine system deployments. They will be accountable for the full lifecycle of their projects from requirements capture, supplier identification to successful handover of the product or service to the business.

Responsibilities

• You will be accountable for the planning and implementation of your project portfolio, from initial requirements capture and planning through to successful delivery of the project.
• You will lead the identification, vetting and subsequent onboarding activity for new suppliers to support new business demands.
• You will manage the competitive tendering of contracts to existing and new suppliers.
• You will ensure your portfolio of suppliers are delivering on time, to budget whilst ensuring quality and regulatory standards are adhered to.
• You will have experience working alongside engineers to define statements of work for competitive tender on novel technology projects.
• You will maintain clear and effective communication to facilitate timely and informed decision-making processes among stakeholders.
