Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, Georgia, a 633-bed Level I Trauma center, provides comprehensive neurological care with 24/7 neurointerventional, neurosurgical, neuroradiology and neurology services. The Neurohospitalist team is supported by midlevel providers, a stroke coordinator, research coordinators and an integrated physician core group of neurosurgeons and neurologists. The WellStar Research Institute supports physician-initiated, NIH and industry sponsored clinical trials. This is a hybrid scheduled position with a 7 on/7 off pattern, including two weeks in the Stroke Clinic outpatient in Marietta.

Wellstar Medical Group seeks a vascular-trained neurologist to join the Stroke team at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care as a Stroke/Neurology physician within a hybrid schedule (outpatient and inpatient duties).
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, neuroradiology and other specialists to deliver comprehensive neurological care.
• Work with a stroke coordinator, research coordinators and midlevel providers as part of an integrated care team.
• Support NIH and industry sponsored clinical trials through the WellStar Research Institute (as applicable).
• Work a 7 on/7 off schedule with 2 weeks of outpatient clinic work in Marietta.
