JPS offers 18 residency and fellowship programs, including the largest family medicine residency in the nation. JPS educates in tandem with the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Texas Christian University Medical School.
This is a clinical position in an academic environment, with a focus on contributing to the overall healthcare of patients in Healing Wings Clinic. Broadly, the psychologist will spend time in clinical care, with some attention to population-based care, interdisciplinary treatment teams, and administrative work. The psychologist will provide clinical care and supervision in a fast paced, integrated care setting within a primary care clinic for patients with HIV/AIDS. The psychologist will be expected to provide individual, group, and family therapy as appropriate. The psychologist will also be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide high quality care. The psychologist may be asked to supervise mental health learners in the provision of integrated mental health. As needed, the psychologist will also participate in administrative efforts and quality of care efforts at Healing Wings Clinic and JPS more broadly.
