Standing for sustained periods. Walking long distances. Pushing/Pulling 30-50 pounds. Lifting 50-100 pounds. Repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Visual acuity for reading numbers and text and operating equipment. Able to perform components of Basic Life Support if applicable.
Patient Care
Works in well-lighted/ventilated office/clinical setting. Subject to frequent interruptions. Subject to long hours, changing shifts. May be required to work beyond normal hours. Routine occupational exposure to infectious diseases, blood borne pathogens, bodily fluids, hazardous chemicals, noxious odors, latex, and/or musculoskeletal injuries. Use of PPE is provided by the hospital and required for exposure to blood, body fluids and infectious processes. Interaction with patients, family members, co-workers, and visitors under all conditions, including hostile or emotionally upset situations.
