Responsibilities
  • Provides patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive, functional evaluations and sustainable treatment plans.
  • Maintains accurate patient documentation: evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, education logs, charges, departmental statistics, and ICD-9 codes.
  • Meets department financial and productivity standards, adjusting schedules to balance patient needs and departmental goals.
  • Participates in process management to optimize service quality and efficiency; identifies operational improvement opportunities.
  • Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers; leads in‑service training programs and committee representation.
  • Supervises physical therapy and PT assistant students, ensuring quality clinical skills and patient care delivery.
  • Communicates professionally with patients, physicians, staff, and external partners.
  • Provides age‑specific patient care aligned with developmental guidelines.
