Expected pay for this position is $45.21 - $53.19 per hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an hourly position.

Overview

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist assists patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment.

Required Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (those licensed after 2016 must hold a doctoral degree; those licensed before 2016 are exempt under grandfathering rules).
  • State license in Physical Therapy.
  • American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Valid state driver’s license and insurance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to explain care plans and educate family members, and to communicate effectively with other treatment team members.
  • Analytical ability to evaluate patients’ physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate consistent treatment plans, observe patients, document status, and assist techs and assistants in problem resolution.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year experience in a hospital or home care setting.
