Best Life Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is the leading provider of outpatient physical therapy and sports medicine in the Hampton Roads Area with four locations. This role is for a Physical Therapist, DPT at the Chesapeake location. We are inside of Universal Fitness and we have full access to all of their equipment. If you have a niche or passion in sports medicine that you would like to pursue, we would be an ideal fit. Our approach to patient care stands apart from other clinics.

We are looking for a highly qualified outpatient PT/DPT to work in a small, therapist-owned outpatient ortho/sports medicine clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy services to patients with orthopedic and sports medicine needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and evidence-based modalities as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (DPT).
• Current Virginia State License.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Orthopedic or Sports Medicine outpatient settings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and bedside manner.
• Outstanding time management and ability to multitask.
• Dry Needling certification is preferred but not required.
