Description

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our growing Generator Service Sales team. As a Generator Service Sales Representative, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base in South Dakota and generating revenue through the sale of our generator parts and services. This is a challenging but rewarding position that offers opportunities for growth and advancement.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers, presenting our generator services to them, and closing sales. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies, ensuring that you are knowledgeable and able to provide expert advice to customers.

The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter who is highly motivated, results-oriented, and has a proven track record in sales. You should be customer-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Reports to: Sales Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in generator sales or a similar role
  • Proven track record of successful sales achievements
  • Strong knowledge of generator services and products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on the customer location and may include construction, warehouse, manufacturing, office, or external environments. Some activities may include walking, standing, climbing in various conditions including extreme heat or cold. Essential functions will require travel to customer locations.
